After the Blu-Ray releases of Star Wars, George Lucas is planning to release the trilogies in 3D. All six movies will be converted to 3D, beginning with The Phantom Menace in 2012 and every next installment each year 'till 2017. I'd prefer A New Hope to be released first, instead this 'chronological' order. This is still in the 'rumor section', so expect more news soon.The new re-mastered 3D versions of Star Wars are supposed to be released by FOX.
